The film was welcomed to Aotearoa by the Indigenous Coalition for Israel representative, Te Rata Hikairo, who opened the screening with a karakia and mihi. The film weaves together the histories of ancestors, of people of the land and the Dead Sea and speaks of the kaitiakitanga (guardianship) of precious resources, places and spaces.
